Woe to the world because of its stumbling blocks! For it is inevitable that stumbling blocks come; but woe to that man through whom the stumbling block comes!”

“But Jesus turned and said to Peter, “Get behind Me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to Me. For you do not have in mind the things of God, but the things of men.” Matthew 16:23

And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.”

Democrats are accused of being “sore losers” because they lost the election. The Republican side feels that the “election is over” and the losing side should “get over it!”  My personal opinion is – the loss is painful not because Hillary Clinton lost to Donald Trump – it is painful because of what a Trump “win” represents for America as a whole.

……………………………………………

It is painful because a godless man with a dark soul will sit in the most powerful seat in the world come January 2017.  A man who boldly revealed deep seated hatred and bigotry before the world – showed the American people just what is in his heart – and the dark side of mankind was rejuvenated.

Former Ku Klux Klan leader David Duke is calling Donald Trump’s electoral victory “one of the most exciting nights of my life.”

Duke, a white nationalist who unsuccessfully ran for Louisiana Senate, tweeted early Wednesday that his supporters played a major part in paving Trump’s road to the presidency.

“Make no mistake about it, our people have played a HUGE role in electing Trump!” he wrote.

……………………………………………

And who might “our people” be? – “The Ku Klux Klan (KKK), or simply the Klan.” They are haters of anyone that is non-white in nationality – known to murder in the name of white supremacy. Godless souls that have no conscience – just waiting for a man like Trump – a man who speaks their language – a man who has the power to “Make America Great Again!” Which translates – Make America White Again! It will never happen.

……………………………………………

Trump’s hateful and evil public views of minorities, women, disabled persons, and anyone that does not see things his way – has refreshed the forces of hate, and given rise to a whole new level – just outright evil. Bigotry was always operating in America – subtle in many cases – but ever so active and creative in ways that its presence was always felt. The Klan is celebrating because they now have their demagogue in high places – Donald Trump.

……………………………………………

the-klan

“The Ku Klux Klan couldn’t be happier about the presidential election of Donald Trump.”

“A Trump spokeswoman on Friday morning said, “Mr. Trump and his team continue to disavow these groups and individuals and strongly condemn their message of hate.”

Nevertheless, Trump’s bold hate speeches gave mindsets like the Klan reassurance that they could resume openly evil acts as in past times of lynching and homegrown terrorism towards minorities – especially black Americans.

According to the Southern Poverty Law Center, “Over 200 Incidents of Hateful Harassment and Intimidation Since Election Day”

Some of the reports that came directly to the SPLC include:

“My 12 year old daughter is African American. A boy approached her and said, “now that Trump is president, I’m going to shoot you and all the blacks I can find“. We reported it to the school who followed up with my daughter and the boy appropriately.”

“I was standing at a red light waiting to cross the street. A black truck with three white men pulled up to the red light. One of them yelled, “F*** your black life!” The other two began to laugh. One began to chant “Trump!” as they drove away.”

“A student in an English IV course told his teacher, who is Mexican-American, that he needs to take his family and get out of our country. The student mentioned he wasn’t welcome any longer. He supported this argument by citing comments from our President-elect.”

“Death to Diversity” was written on a banner displayed on our library for people to see, as well as written on posters across campus. As well as white males going up to women saying that it was now “legal to grab them by the p****”.

On a Spiritual note, Donald Trump views himself as perfect – a man who never makes mistakes.

When further asked about repentance again by Cooper, Trump said “I think repenting is terrific.”

“Why do I have to repent or ask for forgiveness, if I am not making mistakes?” asked Trump. “I work hard, I’m an honorable person.”

……………………………………………

I guess Trump never read Romans 3:23 – “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;”

Ecclesiastes 7:20
“Indeed, there is not a righteous man on earth who continually does good and who never sins.

If we say that we have no sin, we are deceiving ourselves and the truth is not in us.”

……………………………………………

Moderator Frank Luntz asked Trump on Saturday if he had ever sought God’s forgiveness and Trump replied, “I’m not sure I have ever asked God’s forgiveness. I don’t bring God into that picture.”

Trump clarified further about forgiveness in the church setting saying, “When I go to church and when I drink my little wine and have my little cracker, I guess that is a form of forgiveness. I do that as often as I can because I feel cleansed. I say let’s go on and let’s make it right,” declared Trump.

I drink my little wine and have my little cracker”

“He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings,”

Evil in the Last Days

1This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 5Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. 6For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, 7Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. 8Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith. 9But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as theirs also was.”

……………………………………………

I am not saying that Donald Trump is the anti-Christ, but when I hear his name – that is what comes to mind. If he is not the anti-Christ that the Bible speaks of as the one who will “proclaim himself to be God…” Then he surely could be a forerunner.

Daniel 8:25
“And through his shrewdness He will cause deceit to succeed by his influence; And he will magnify himself in his heart, And he will destroy many while they are at ease. He will even oppose the Prince of princes, But he will be broken without human agency.

The Backlash of Trump’s Victory

Now many people of color, women and LGBT people who have long faced threats large and small must grapple with the knowledge that half of their fellow American voters elected someone who has advocated policies aimed at them: Keeping Muslims and Mexicans out of the country, using police tactics considered racially biased such as stop-and-frisk, and grabbing women without consent.”

……………………………………………

“I don’t want to give the impression that everyone who voted for Trump is a racist,” says Williams, who pointed to economic issues, abortion and problems with Hillary Clinton as other reasons for Trump’s victory. “That being said, I think there were a number of people who were racist who said, ‘it’s about time someone is saying these things.’

……………………………………………

People are crying: It’s not because they lost a race

“I think it’s normal in any election, one side is going to demonize the other,” says Monnica Williams, a licensed clinical psychologist.

“In this case, Trump actually said those awful things about women, about minorities, and he stands by those remarks,” Williams says. “It’s very scary for people who are part of marginalized and stigmatized communities.”

“But many Trump voters looked past his words, rather than condoned them. Exit polls in Wisconsin, a big win for Trump, show that 21% of voters who had a negative opinion of him voted for him anyway.”

Another Side to the Story to Consider

Really, we can look at what is happening in America another way. Spiritually speaking – what if God had a hand in allowing Trump to be elected? Hold on before you get all bent out of shape. If we are truly honest with ourselves, America has without a doubt forgotten her God. You keep hearing the slogan, “Make America Great Again,” – but how great is she really without our Creator – the Giver of life itself?

……………………………………………

God’s creation puts more faith and trust in humanity than the One who gives us life. We look to man to solve our problems, and hit the reset button when life fails to bring us comfort or material possessions.

Isaiah 2:22 says-
“Stop regarding man, whose breath of life is in his nostrils; For why should he be esteemed?”

We often regard our elected officials as saviors of America when it is God who gives man authority to rule:

Proverbs 8:15
“By me kings reign, And rulers decree justice.”

John 19:11
“Jesus answered, “You would have no authority over Me unless it were given to you from above. Therefore the one who handed Me over to you is guilty of greater sin.”

New American Standard Bible
“Every person is to be in subjection to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those which exist are established by God.”

Romans 13:2
“Consequently, the one who resists authority is opposing what God has set in place, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves.”

Titus 3:1
“Remind the believers to be subject to rulers and authorities, to be obedient and ready for every good work,”

……………………………………………

God sets up authority to govern the people of the land, but we are not to place our trust in man. The heart of man is full of corruption and evil all the time.

New American Standard Bible
“It is better to take refuge in the LORD Than to trust in man.”

New American Standard 1977
“Do not trust in princes, In mortal man, in whom there is no salvation.”

It is reported that the suicide hotline and domestic violence and rape centers are receiving an increase in calls after the election.

hillary-and-trump

An article on slate.com refers to Donald Trump as “The Triggered Electorate.”

“Donald Trump has a unique and sickening ability to resurface women’s memories of abuse and trauma.”

“All over America, the squalid denouement of the Trump campaign is forcing women to think anew about abuse they’ve endured. According to the Rape, Abuse, and Incest National Network, the weekend after the release of the Trump tape saw a 33 percent increase in people turning to its National Sexual Assault Hotline for support.”

After Trump Win, Suicide Hotlines Flooded With Calls

There is Hope:

Job 36:5
“Behold, God is mighty but does not despise any; He is mighty in strength of understanding.”

Psalm 22:24
“For He has not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted; Nor has He hidden His face from him; But when he cried to Him for help, He heard.”

New American Standard Bible
“He has regarded the prayer of the destitute And has not despised their prayer.”

2 Chronicles 32:8
“With him is only an arm of flesh, but with us is the LORD our God to help us and to fight our battles.” And the people relied on the words of Hezekiah king of Judah.”

2 Chronicles 32:7
“Be strong and courageous, do not fear or be dismayed because of the king of Assyria nor because of all the horde that is with him; for the one with us is greater than the one with him.”

American Standard Version
“if my people, who are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”

……………………………………………

I believe protesting and speaking out against Donald Trump becoming the 45th President of the United States is necessary. The violence against Trump and Hillary supporters is not. When and if Trump officially becomes President, the damage to the democracy of America will touch everyone! Then at last, the citizens of America will have a common enemy. I feel sorry for those who voted for him. When he fails to fulfill his empty promises – and he will – they will feel the heartbreak that many on the other side are feeling right now.

……………………………………………

Intimidation and threats against minorities, women, children, and people who are different than you is evil. This must stop, and it can only be opposed with collective prayer – prayer without ceasing! This is the main ingredient missing from this battle with the evil that is blatantly rising up in our nation. True Christians everywhere must lift their voices to Almighty God!

……………………………………………

IT IS TIME TO PRAY!!!!!!

“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”

……………………………………………

Psalm 34:15 “The eyes of the LORD are on the righteous, and his ears are open to their cry.

“The LORD is far from the wicked, but he hears the prayer of the righteous.

Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that you may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.”

Ephesians 3:14 “For this cause I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,

Isaiah 65:24 “And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; …

Psalm 4:1 For the director of music. With stringed instruments. A

A psalm of David. Answer me when I call to you, my righteous God. Give me relief
from my distress; have mercy on me and hear my prayer.

The Lord’s Prayer

(Luke 11:1-4)

5And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. 6But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.

7But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. 8Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.

9After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.

10Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

11Give us this day our daily bread.

12And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.

13And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

Trump’s bigotry, dishonesty and promise-breaking will have to be denounced. We can’t go morally numb. But he needs to be replaced with a program that addresses the problems that fueled his ascent.

After all, the guy will probably resign or be impeached within a year. The future is closer than you think.

“Be strong and courageous.”

The real reason we have an Electoral College: to protect slave states

“In a direct election system, the South would have lost every time.”

“Let’s start with this: Why does the Electoral College exist? Is it exclusively about federalism and slavery?”

“So what’s the real answer? In my view, it’s slavery. In a direct election system, the South would have lost every time because a huge percentage of its population was slaves, and slaves couldn’t vote. But an Electoral College allows states to count slaves, albeit at a discount (the three-fifths clausethe three-fifths clause), and that’s what gave the South the inside track in presidential elections. “And thus it’s no surprise that eight of the first nine presidential races were won by a Virginian. (Virginia was the most populous state at the time, and had a massive slave population that boosted its electoral vote count.)”

“The three-fifths clause remained in force until the post-Civil War 13th Amendment freed all enslaved people in the United States, the 14th amendment gave them full citizenship, and the 15th Amendment granted black men the right to vote.”

http://www.newyorker.com/news/john-cassidy/trump-university-its-worse-than-you-think

“Trump University: It’s Worse Than You Think…..One thing is clear, though. If the revelations about Trump University don’t do any damage to Trump, it’s time to worry—or worry even more—about American democracy.”

……………………………………………

http://www.newyorker.com/news/daily-comment/the-dangerous-acceptance-of-donald-trump

“If Trump came to power, there is a decent chance that the American experiment would be over. This is not a hyperbolic prediction; it is not a hysterical prediction; it is simply a candid reading of what history tells us happens in countries with leaders like Trump. Countries don’t really recover from being taken over by unstable authoritarian nationalists of any political bent, left or right—not by Peróns or Castros or Putins or Francos or Lenins or fill in the blanks. The nation may survive, but the wound to hope and order will never fully heal.”

I wrote this above: “I feel sorry for those who voted for him. When he fails to fulfill his empty promises – and he will – they will feel the heartbreak that many on the other side are feeling right now.”

Well, I wasn’t too far from the truth – TRUMP REGRETS

https://twitter.com/trump_regrets

Trump needs to be more humble. I like the Today Show, but I’m starting to regret voting for Trump. God help us.

Hey DJT you really like Russia huh? I voted for you sadly you fraud. Hear you like young prostitutes?

So much for draining the swamp and getting rid of cronyism Don. Treasury Secretary pick is a perfect example.

I voted for you, now I wish you had lost because of your constant attacks & bragging. So childish!

There are many people who now see the light, but it is too late.

Donald Trump Is Already Disappointing His Supporters

“The swamp is full again. It’s actually fuller.”

“I’m starting to feel like the biggest mistake of my young 23 years of life has been voting for [Trump],” Joseph Richardson tweeted on Nov. 21.”
