It is as strange that a man can be in a sinful, miserable condition, and not be aware of it, as that a man should have a beam in his eye, and not consider it; but the god of this world blinds their minds. “Hey, are you sad that 50 pedophiles were killed today? No … I think that’s great. I think that helps society. I think Orlando, Florida’s a little safer tonight,” Jimenez told the congregation hours later.”

Pastor Roger Jimenez you are insensitive to the hurt and suffering of humanity – so unlike our Lord Jesus Christ. It is because of so called ministers of God that many people turn away from the Savior and denounce organized religion as a whole. In turn, the darkness of countless Christian hearts further push away those who are in need of salvation.  Could you not think of a better way to grab your 15-minutes of fame? Shame on you!


Please explain how the death of the 49 people killed will “help society?” The 50th person, well he will never cause another human being pain ever again. So as far as the shooter goes, that is a plus. OK, so “50 pedophiles” as you refer to them were killed, how does our society benefit? What ills that plague our society will be diminished as a result of their dying?

What crimes that has gripped our nation will be lessened – domestic violence, drug dealing, gang murders, rape, bullying? The list is long but I am sure you get my meaning. And please explain how “Orlando, Florida’s a little safer?”  What societal ills will Orlando Florida shed now that “50 pedophiles” are dead? What will this massacre protect Orlando Florida from?


I am a follower of Christ. I stand with the Bible on the teachings of Jesus Christ. I believe the Bible to be the Word of Jehovah God. Believers are commanded to love one another and show compassion to fellow human beings – even if we do not agree with their views, lifestyles, or the choices they make in their personal lives. If we truly stand with the Word, then we must include love and empathy for others.



The Bible does not teach us to embrace sin, but to flee from sin – all manner of sin. If you are going to publically praise the death of “50 pedophiles”, why not include 50 domestic abusers, 50 murderers, 50 gamblers, 50 drunkards, 50 thieves, 50 revilers, 50 extortioners, 50 fornicators, 50 idolaters, and 50 adulterers?  Galatians 5:19-21:

19Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, 20Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, 21Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.”

I have a homosexual cousin, and I have had homosexual friends and co-workers. Although I do not embrace their lifestyle, I loved them for who they are and were – a few have died. I have shared the Word with them, and left the end results up to them and their Maker. We agreed to disagree in most cases. Of those who died, I was saddened, and the world has become a more evil place since their deaths – long ago. Our society benefited not. The love of many continues to grow cold.


Where the souls of the deceased go after death is none of our business. Our duty is to the living and to comfort the bereaved. Did you ever stop to think how cruel your words sound to the loved ones left behind – mothers, fathers – family and friends? What are you doing to ease their pain? Where is your compassion towards that mother who will never hug her child again in this life? Our Lord possessed compassion like no other – where is yours? Why is your heart so hard?

This is no time for holier than thou attitudes – especially from so called Christian leaders – or the church as a whole. It is quite possible that some loved ones left behind were praying for a different outcome of life choices for their deceased loved ones. Therefore, your insensitive comments may cause further hurt and distance from the Savior.



“It is unnatural for a man to be attracted to another man,” Jimenez said in his preachings.”

There are many things in this world considered “unnatural.” Isn’t it unnatural for a “man of God” to beat his wife? What is natural about a mother drowning her own children? Is it natural for a father to rape his own daughter? Many “unnatural” ugly things happen in our world from the beginning of time, and on a daily basis. But God had a plan:

16For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.”


43Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy. 44But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; 45That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. 46For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same? 47And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so? 48Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.”

If the church as a whole truly lived by the Word of God, judging others would be confined to the body of Christ only.

If the people of God would truly follow the Word, the church would reflect a whole new image, as it was meant to be – a healing place. Hurting people are searching for something, someone – anything that will ease the pain in their lives. Unfortunately, Satan offers an easy way out, suicide, drugs, alcohol, and self-destruction. Christians have either lost the purpose of Christianity, or never truly understood the message of Christ at all. We are no better than those who are of the world:

Christians are sinners saved by Grace.

Pastor Roger Jimenez, you are preaching and teaching the hate of the “Pharisees and scribes” who “murmured, saying, This man receiveth sinners, and eateth with them” 2

“Murmured – They affected to suppose that if Jesus treated sinners kindly he must be fond of their society, and be a man of similar character. “They” considered it disgraceful to be with them or to eat with them, and they, therefore, brought a charge against him for it. They “would” not suppose that he admitted them to his society for the purpose of doing them good; nor did they remember that the very object of his coming was to call the wicked from their ways and to save them from death.”

Your words reflect that your heart is lacking the Spirit of love:

The Parable of the Wheat and the Tares

“13:24-30, 36-43 This parable represents the present and future state of the gospel church; Christ’s care of it, the devil’s enmity against it, the mixture there is in it of good and bad in this world, and the separation between them in the other world. So prone is fallen man to sin, that if the enemy sow the tares, he may go his way, they will spring up, and do hurt; whereas, when good seed is sown, it must be tended, watered, and fenced. The servants complained to their master; Sir, didst thou not sow good seed in thy field? No doubt he did; whatever is amiss in the church, we are sure it is not from Christ. The days are evil, and the church should be about the Lord’s business – not dimming the bright Light of eternal salvation. We shall give an account for our misdeeds and turning the lost away from Jesus who Saves.
